Alojamento Local

The interior renovation of a house built in 1951 aimed to preserve the essence of its original design while adapting the spaces to the new desired layout. The project respected the historical and architectural features of the property, preserving significant details that reflect the style of the time while incorporating contemporary elements to meet modern needs.

The renovation was guided by biophilic design principles, creating a harmonious connection between the interior and exterior. A palette of materials and colors that evoke the surrounding nature of the estate where the house is located was used. Light-toned wood was chosen as the predominant material, providing a sense of warmth and closeness to nature. Green tones weed incorporated into the finishes and decor, bringing freshness and vitality to the space.

The goal was to create interior spaces that reflect the outdoor environment, establishing a visual and emotional continuity with the estate's landscape. Large windows and openings were used to maximize natural light and offer panoramic views of the gardens and green areas, allowing the exterior beauty to permeate the interior of the house.

Each room was carefully reimagined to balance the preservation of historical elements with modern functionality. The combination of natural materials and soft colors created a serene welcoming environment that not only respects the house's past but also celebrates its integration with nature.

This renovation resulted in an interior that blends the elegance of the original design with contemporary biophilic influences, creating a space that is both true to its heritage and adapted to the demands of modern life, all while staying connected to the natural environment.
